About The Kelseys

Taking their name from the University of Michigan’s Museum of Archaeology, The Kelseys are an indie pop-rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan who have been gaining traction since 2016. From their debut single “Head Over Heels” to their latest single, “In the Morning,” they’ve increasingly pushed their creative boundaries to marry their off-the-beaten-path influences with their world-touring pop aspirations. While the scale of their music reaches dizzying heights, behind the walls of guitar-driven, glitzy synth sounds are three close friends trying to wrestle with late adolescence and burgeoning adulthood.Their biggest release to date, "FOMO"— which was entirely self-recorded, engineered, produced, and mixed by the group in their bedrooms — is an indie pop track that explores the glitzy, hi-fi aesthetic made famous by bands like The 1975, embodying a creativity fostered through the interconnectedness of its creators: Josh Cukier (drums), Evan Dennis (guitar), and Peter Kwitny (vocals).
